My first Basque Burnt Cheesecake and my "backtoblogging" sentiments. lol

Hi everyone! wow it feels good to be back in blogging. The last time na ngreal blog ako was like few years ago pa tapos di updated ang events. haha. Ever since Instagram started, I became so lazy blogging and also Instagram has more audience (audience???lol) so napabayaan si Plojing.😭. I'm glad that blogger didn't take down my blog even if it's inactive for a long time already. Browsing through my posts, I remember how this blog helped me in expressing myself and interacting with fellow bloggers from different parts of the world. Now that I have ample time, I will try to visit sites of my friends here and will reconnect to them. 😘

And also my friends, I changed my url from PLOJING.BLOGSPOT.COM to WWW.JINGOCAY.COM para murag korek LOL. I am also into vlogging now. It's just about anything under the sun. Random topics. food trip, travels, cooking etc. Video version lang din ng blog ko haha. Lazy in writing so talking nalang hahaha. lahat na ata pinasukan ko. litsugas. My latest vlog entry is about my first ever BASQUE BURNT CHEESECAKE. It turned to be so good. My husband and brother-in-law can attest to that. hahaha. Here's the link below for reference. ahahaha.

Me and my creation. I'm not really good at presentation. May parchment paper pa. 😂

Roam in Rome

Rome for four days by myself is by far the best solo trip in my life. I was scared at first and felt lonely at times but that doesn't stop me from exploring the wonders of The Eternal City . I must say it wasn't that hard to tour around Rome because tourist spots are accessible by trains and Italians are really wonderful people. They go out of their way to help you. Faith in humanity restored ika nga ;) I came accross the many beautiful and well-decorated restaurants and shops, fountains, museums and pretty parks.

It was scorching hot when I get there and was really tough to spend the whole day out in the sun. But wth, aarte pa ba ako ? So kahit mainit, tuloy ang rampa sa Roma. LOL.

Indeed Rome has a lot to offer. I wish I had more time to explore the city. I would love to come back and definitely not alone anymore ;)
Grazie, Italia. Io ti amo!

The cool city of Köln Germany

Short but sweet visit. Cologne was one of the most bombed cities in Germany during the world wars so you can hardly see medieval buildings at present time. The Cathedral is the main attraction of the city and was one of the few structures spared from bombing. It is so majestic that I tried my best to take a photo of all the angles of the church. Kulang na lang mgrent ako ng plane para sa top view. lol. Seriously though, it was so difficult to take a photo of the dom 'coz it's so huuuuge! Nakakamangha sa ganda! I also had the chance to see contemporary art in Ludwig Musuem which houses one of the largest collections of Pablo Picasso and other famous artists. Seeing Picasso's works in person gave me goosebumps. I'm not into art but his paintings fed me unexplainable ecstatic feeling. Also, had a chit chat with one of the security guards of the musuem. When I told him I'm from the Philippines, he hummed a few notes of Freddie Aguilar's song ANAK. I was so amazed. Ang sarap ng feeling. Kakaproud lang. :)

The city also has a Love Lock Bridge called Hohenzollernbrücke. Sabi na eh may forever sa Deutschland. <3hehe. I had a pleasure discovering the fourth largest city of Germany. It was really a nice experience. One for the books!
