Now I am on a great challenge. I challenge myself to save more and spend less. Yes, it's easier said than done. I'm not getting any younger and I know that anytime soon I'll have my own family. Don't get me wrong. I'm not getting married yet but I realized that having a stable life before marriage is satisfying than being financially unstable. I hate the thought of asking money from my parents. I don't wanna do that. That's why I took many part time jobs to finance myself in college. And now me and my boyfriend are planning to invest in capital market by the end of this year or early next year (by God's grace). We are doing the best we can to minimize our spendings. We even keep a record of our expenses. Grabe!ang hirap. Yesterday, I saw a beautiful pair of wedges at the mall. I was dying to buy that pair, but I have to stick to my promises or else the challenge will be useless.I know that there's a good reason for this. Choks lang! alam ko kaya ko to. weeehhh. ^=^
"I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her." "I live in Notting Hill. You live in Beverly Hills. Everyone in the world knows who you are, my mother has trouble remembering my name."
BSX sleeveless black cardigan, GAP striped tube top, Old Navy shorts (all thrifted)

These benches remind me of my favorite romantic movie - Notting Hill. I know most of you have seen this flick. I still watch it over and over again. And those lines above are a few of my favorites.
On the other note, I realized I've been wearing shorts very often this summer. It's so comfortable and ready to wear. I know I don't have those long legs (how I wish) but that doesn't hinder me from wearing shorts (bagag nawong.haha). Bakit ba, ang init eh!haha. I'm planning to thrift more shorts because I only have 3 shorts worn repeatedly. haha
How about you guys, what's your favorite outfit for summer?
One year ago, I started this blog.I never thought I'd come this far.A year of blogging for me is an achievement. I really thought I would easily give up blogging since from the start I hate writing. It's not my field. It's far from my major. But because of my thrifted goods and a cup of inspiration from co-bloggers, "Jing Pinay" survived. Cheers to that!
So thank you lovely people for your continuing support and for your time reading my entries. Your comments make me smile every day. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
and to my ever patient photographer, THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU!
Today's post is just all about "ukay". Last week, I received a text message from the owner of my favorite thrift store saying that new arrivals are available in her shop. I found this black sleeveless top with very cute G-clef print. I grabbed it right away and took it home. It is very comfortable especially with this freaking hot weather .
And everybody, meet my recent favorite thrifted bag. I've been receiving lovely comments about this bag in my previous posts. I found this baby in a newly built thrift store near my apartment. I felt so happy when I set my eyes on her. What made her extra special is that she was on sale and only costs 100php( 2dollars). I love the engrafted letters /words design on this bag. How unique right? Oh she's so special and I'm gonna keep her forevah.
I want these mushrooms in my room.

I watched the latest season of Glee. (Oh I'm inlove with Mr. Will Schuester!)
I went to the mall with my boyfriend and took rides in the festival. We felt we were kids again. It was so much fun. I think we'll do that every month. ang saya lang!
And of course I campaigned for my bet Gilbert Teodoro. Unfortunately, he didn't win the race! I just hope Aquino will include GIBO and Gordon as members of his cabinet. They are great leaders and I'm sure Aquino needs them. Philippines needs them.
These pictures were taken last Monday. A big thanks to my boyfriend for the photos.

Election is fast approaching and I regret I did not register to vote. But this does not stop me from campaigning for my bet - Gilbert Teodoro. There are thousands of reasons why I am rooting for Gibo, too many to mention. I really hope he wins.
