Finally my wish to see windmills in the flesh(oo. parang tao lang) came true! I was teary-eyed upon seeing the place. The scene is breathtakingly beautiful. For one year I've been planning and doing research about the place and here I am standing under the giant windmills. The long wait was so worth it.
These giant windmills are located along the shores of Bangui, Ilocos Norte. A project built by the Marcoses to provide electricity to some towns in Ilocandia. Now, it is one of the most visited spots in Ilocos Norte with beauty and power combined.
